B&B Glass reaped the full benefits of this perfect pairing when they called on Preston Rentals to assist with a 7-story cross laminated timber project for Southstone Yards office buildings in Frisco, TX. A busy and clogged working environment presented many challenges for B&B Glass, such as a lack of laydown yard, product concerns and damages, as well as coordinating crane time. But our perfect pairing of the SuperDeck® 3.2 and SuperCrane™ 285 meant that we were able to provide two solutions on the one truck. The small body width (2.46 ft) of the SuperCrane™ 285 solved the issue of limited space without compromising lifting power. Likewise, the SuperDeck® 3.2 provided a solution to the clogged working environment by offering additional storage space as well as efficient material handling.
Lithko Contracting also benefitted from this product pairing when they engaged Preston Rentals to help with a 27-story residential apartment tower project in Downtown Dallas, TX. Initially only renting a SuperDeck® 4.2, Preston Rentals were able to step in and also provide a SuperCrane™ 305 and SuperDeck® 3.2 after they struggled to access units through another supplier. The impressive lifting capacity of the SuperCrane™ 305 (6,560 lb.) maximized efficiency onsite and its small stature meant that it took up little precious ground space. The SuperDeck 3.2® and SuperDeck® 4.2 also provided Lithko Contracting with fast material handling, enhanced safety, and additional storage space. The pairing of the SuperCrane™ 305 and SuperDecks improved productivity on site and produced savings in time and money, assisting in a successful and timely project completion.
