Our SuperDecks Elevate Bellevue High-Rise Project – SuperDeck® 3.2
Mortenson Construction once again turned to Preston Rentals to address their material handling needs on a high-rise project in Bellevue, Washington. They needed a way to load bulky, prefabricated modules into a 12-story, mixed-use building. We supplied two units of our 3.2 SuperDecks as they perfectly accommodated the size and weight of the modules, being able to bear loads up to 11,000lbs. Stacked one above the other, and able to be retracted, these SuperDecks will streamline material handling and free up precious crane time on site over the next 3-4 months. Our ability to offer tailored solutions that address the specific challenges faced in multi-level construction continues to strengthen our partnership with Mortenson Construction.
Preston Rentals offers “capitol” solution for JE Dunn – SuperDeck® 3.2
One of the largest general contractors in the US, JE Dunn Construction, required a material handling solution for their ambitious project across from the Minnesota State Capitol. This half-a-billion-dollar government construction project aims to renovate and expand the historic Minnesota State Office Building, addressing critical infrastructure, security, and accessibility issues. Facing the challenge of needing to load materials into the building, JE Dunn Construction was looking for a robust and versatile solution. Preston Rentals recommended three of our SuperDeck® 3.2s and strategically positioned them for maximum efficiency. These decks will be on-site for the next year, ensuring smooth and efficient loading operations as the building progresses.
Aloha to Efficiency! Preston Rentals Supports Assisted-Living Project in Hawaii – SuperDeck® 3.2
Nordic PCL Construction turned to Preston Rentals again for our industry-leading rental equipment solutions. They needed an effective material handling strategy for an assisted living building project overlooking the USS Arizona memorial – one of the most visited sites in Pearl Harbor. Given the project’s scale (15 stories) and material handling requirements, Preston Rentals recommended three of our 3.2 SuperDecks for the task. With individual widths of 10’ 6”, our 3.2 SuperDecks can load and deliver a wide range of materials into a building under construction, from formwork and HVAC units to transporting equipment (like a mini crane) to a required floor. We performed a seamless installation using our highly efficient 2-prop method, saving Nordic precious time on installation and removal.
Preston Rentals is set to assist Nordic PCL Construction on another upcoming job in downtown Honolulu which is just breaking ground. Our ongoing collaboration demonstrates our dedication to supporting Nordic’s construction needs with innovative and reliable material handling solutions.
